Jen Anderson : Senior Administrator

I joined Dunelm Property Services in 2005 as Senior Administrator, having previously worked for Black & Decker in the HR & Payroll Department for 25 years.

I accepted the job with Dunelm Property Services as it was a total change and gave me the opportunity to develop new skills with more responsibility than my previous position had offered.

My day to day duties include a wide range of admin tasks, however as we’re in the social housing sector i’m also involved with taking calls on the customer care line, which is a line dedicated to tenants who may be having problems.

“It’s nice to deal with residents & tenants on a daily basis, its good to feel like you’ve helped somebody, it all feels worthwhile”.

My main responsibility and the key to my position is to give support wherever needed, this could be for operatives, customer care advisors, site managers or directors.

Esh Group is a really great place to work and hard work is rewarded. But its also the people, we have a some great events like the family fun day, annual dinner dance, team and charity events throughout the year.

I really like the style of the company and the relationships I’ve built with not only DPS staff but people from other group companies. There’s a lot of companies under on roof, but we all work together to interact, communicate and get the job done.
